TOUR FROM THE VINEYARD TO THE BOTTLE

The vineyards

The vineyards of the CAMPOREALE farm are located in the most suitable areas of Valpolicella. From these vineyards every year the best bunches of Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella are born with which the prestigious Classic Valpolicella wines are produced such as: Amarone della Valpolicella Classico, Recioto della Valpolicella Classico, Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore, Valpolicella Classico Superiore, Valpolicella Classico and the Reoltre.

Wine processing

We work the vines as in the past, without herbicides: by working under the row we eliminate weeds.
We practice grassing in the inter-rows, that is the spaces between the rows of vines, which, among the various benefits, stimulates the microorganisms of the soil thus making it more fertile.

The harvest

The harvest of the Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes for the production of the Classic Valpolicella wines is carried out exclusively by hand in order to obtain a careful selection of the grapes and the utmost respect for the plants.

The drying of the grapes

The grapes for the production of Amarone della Valpolicella Classico, Recioto della Valpolicella Classico, Reoltre and Passito Bianco are dried in a special, very ventilated room at controlled temperatures and humidity, in order to obtain exceptionally perfectly dried grapes every year. quality and with unique characteristics. In this phase, the initial weight of the grapes decreases by more than 40%, thus remaining a high sugar concentration in the grapes.

Aging in barrels

Bottling

At the end of a long work, the wines are bottled and the bottles then remain in refinement until the sale.
